Public sector bodies need to walk the walk with secure communications
Zivver has been nominated for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards 2020. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an annual election of the fifty fastest growing technology companies originated in the Netherlands.
In 2018, Zivver was nominated for the Rising Star Award, also part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 election. The Rising Star Award was created especially for technology companies younger than four years of age.
Wouter Klinkhamer, CEO: "We are proud to be one of the fifty fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands in 2020. Zivver has achieved impressive market growth in recent years and the global pandemic reinforces the need for a secure communication platform that supports the remote workforce".
Recently, Zivver raised 17 million dollar in an early-stage funding round. This brings the total financing capital so far to over 30 million dollars. Klinkhamer: "Following a period of rapid domestic growth, the new investment will be used to accelerate our international expansion into the UK and other markets, and to expand the Zivver platform with new functionalities. The main focus will be on organisations in highly regulated markets such as government, the legal sector and healthcare. For example, the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security and Antwerp University Hospital recently opted for Zivver. These are great names to work with”.
Bart de Vries, programme leader of the Technology Fast 50, is surprised by the number of participants this year showing impressive growth despite the COVID-19 crisis. Ivo Meij, Senior Manager at Deloitte, also finds the growth impressive despite the crisis: "Most companies have a strong focus on online and are used to adapting to changing circumstances. We therefore hope that the nominees will emerge stronger from this crisis".
